Courtney holds an MFA in Directing from Western Illinois University and a BFA in Theatre Arts from the Conservatory at Stephens College, where he currently works as an Adjunct Professor of Acting. Courtney is currently directing The Haunting of Hill House at The Conservatory for the Performing Arts at Stephens College, as well as preparing for a 4-show Summer Season at the Clinton Area Showboat Theatre in Clinton, Iowa where he currently serves as Artistic Director.
